Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Planning Engineer to join our team at Assystem, working on the Hinkley Point C project in the UK. As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for providing discipline experience for Integrated Project Controls, under the direction of the IPC Planning Manager.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining the Integrated Work Schedule (IWS) in adherence with HPC processes.
  • Managing Level 3 (contract) schedules and providing time-related data and analysis.
  • Assisting the Central Controls Team to ensure alignment with the Level 2 (client) IWS.
  • Supporting EDF Energy in making informed decisions to support the efficient and timely delivery of work scope.

You will have a detailed understanding of scheduling methodologies and techniques, as well as technical and practical comprehension of engineering, procurement, and construction methods and techniques in a UK context.

As a Planning Engineer, you will be working on a high-profile project that will supply 3,200 MWe of carbon-free electricity within the next decade. You will be part of a team committed to equal treatment of candidates and promoting diversity within our company.
