About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 2 Teacher to join our progressive school in Cookham, Windsor & Maidenhead. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to their educational journey.

Responsibilities
  • As a Year 2 teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 1, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
  • Teaching the Key Stage 1 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses.
  • Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents.
Requirements
  • A qualified teacher status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results.
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Patience, resilience, and a passion for teaching.
  • A willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues.
