Office Assistant

SF Recruitment is seeking an efficient and organised Part Time Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the office, including greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and maintaining the reception area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that visitors receive a warm welcome and any necessary assistance or information.
- Manage the switchboard, handling calls and responding to messages in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain the office environment, ensuring the reception area is clean and presentable at all times and that literature and other materials are readily available.
- Arrange meetings and events, including booking meeting rooms and preparing virtual meetings via Zoom.
- Oversee the distribution and collection of post, including arranging courier collections where necessary.
- Source and purchase office supplies, such as tea, coffee, and milk, and maintain the kitchen area in a neat and tidy condition.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure that office equipment, including photocopiers and shredders, is functioning correctly.
- Handle organisational emails, responding to queries and requests in a professional and timely manner.
What We Offer
- A competitive hourly rate of £11.79, reflecting your value to the team.
- A full-time equivalent salary of £23,000 per annum, representing a salary increase commensurate with your skills and experience.
Requirements
- Proven administrative experience, ideally in an office setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and other productivity software.
