About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HCPC registered Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist to join our team at HMP The Mount, Hemel Hempstead. As a Physiotherapist with MSK expertise, you will be responsible for assessing and treating a range of MSK pathologies with some complex and/or chronic presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based care to patients with MSK conditions, using advanced diagnostic and treatment skills.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver high-quality, best practice treatment.
  • Maintain accurate records as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the individual needs of patients.
  • Contribute to the development of the MSK Health in Justice Team, working with physiotherapists and podiatrists in immigration centres and prisons across the country.

Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
  • Post-graduate experience of assessing and treating MSK conditions in an outpatient setting.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work as an autonomous practitioner.
