Job Role: Global Financial Accountant

Reporting to: Global Head of Finance & FP&A

Description:

The Global Financial Accountant will provide internal financial accounting capability to the Global Finance team and manage external third-party financial stakeholders. Key responsibilities include leading external financial reporting, maintaining statutory and taxation accounts, and assisting with consolidated company management accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead external financial reporting for the Kallidus Group of Companies, including statutory, corporate, and taxation accounts.
  • Maintain all statutory, federal, state, and local filing requirements in all jurisdictions of business activity.
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated company management accounts.
  • Lead the annual group audit process and maintain close working relationships with external financial advisors.
  • Optimise the corporate structure of the group from a legal, financial, and tax perspective.
  • Assume lead on group treasury management.
  • Manage all global business insurance requirements.
  • Assist with financial M&A processes.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships within the organisation and its external partners.

Required Skills, Experience and Behaviours:

  • Qualified accountant (2+ years post qualification).
  • Audit/public practice accounting experience required.
  • International statutory financial reporting and taxation experience required.
  • Chartered accounting background preferred.
  • Exposure to M&A and transaction experience highly desirable.
  • Strong Excel and modelling skillset.
  • Systems experience with Salesforce, Sage Intacct, Vena a plus.
  • Values efficiency over process comfort.
  • Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
  • Consistently high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Well organised, flexible, and able to handle multiple and changing priorities.
  • Pragmatic and logical approach to challenges and problem solving.
  • Willing and able to learn new skills.
  • Proactive self-starter and effective team member.
