Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Family & Systemic Psychotherapist to join our Children's Services team. This role involves working with children, young people, and their families to deliver systemic assessments and interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of our services, working closely with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to ensure effective service delivery.
- Carry a specialist caseload of clients with complex mental health needs, delivering direct clinical work within Children's Services.
- Provide professional supervision to systemic and family psychotherapists, promoting excellence in practice.
- Offer leadership and influence at national and regional levels, collaborating with Bangor University to advance the service and workforce.
Qualifications and Experience
- Postgraduate qualification in mental health or social welfare, with demonstrable practice in line with the Mental Health Measure.
- Masters Level qualification in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy or equivalent, accredited by a relevant body.
- Specialist knowledge of Family and Systemic Psychotherapy through doctorate-level training or extensive experience in Advanced Clinical Training.
- Additional training in specialized areas of systemic practice through formal post-qualification training or an evidenced portfolio of supervised practice-based learning.
- UKCP registration as a Systemic Psychotherapist and continuing professional development as required.
