Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a key member of our security team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of individuals and property within your assigned area.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of vigilance and attention to detail. You will be responsible for monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV as appropriate, conducting external and internal security patrols, and issuing visitor/contractor passes.
As a Security Officer, you will also be responsible for maintaining all logbooks and records in accordance with our Assignment Instructions. You will provide support, guidance, and information to all staff, visitors, and contractors while ensuring the safeguarding of the premises and adhering to health and safety procedures.
We are looking for a candidate who is confident, vigilant, and able to work effectively in a team environment. You will have a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures, and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV as appropriate
- Conduct external and internal security patrols
- Issue visitor/contractor passes and maintain logbooks and records
- Provide support, guidance, and information to staff, visitors, and contractors
- Ensure the safeguarding of the premises and adhere to health and safety procedures
- SIA Licence
- 2yrs experience as a Security Officer
- Driver's Licence and access to own vehicle
- RTW and 5yr checkable history
- Confident and vigilant
- Good customer service
- Conflict management
- IT literate
