About the Role

The Project Leadership Specialist will be responsible for managing the successful operational delivery of projects at Sizewell.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing all site resources (plant and labour).
  • Maintaining a positive and productive working culture.
  • Mentoring and coaching subordinates.
  • Ensuring all site activities are carried out in a safe manner.
  • Promoting environmental sustainability.
  • Deploying resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Contributing to the development of the budget.
  • Understanding the contract program and critical path operations.
  • Planning works ahead and having contingency plans in place.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of quality control and security.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Works Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
