About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Partner to join our team at Superdrug. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a critical role in supporting the Own Brand Commercial team in sourcing and procuring high-quality products from suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Own Brand Commercial team to develop and implement procurement strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Manage the tender process, ensuring that all steps are followed diligently and in alignment with company policy.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, ensuring that contracts are negotiated and managed to achieve the best possible outcomes for Superdrug.
  • Support the Own Brand Commercial team in setting up and running tenders and quotation processes, and in supplier management.
  • Lead and coach a Junior Procurement Buyer to achieve both business and personal development objectives.
  • Take responsibility for own personal and professional development.

Requirements

  • Generalist procurement experience, with a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
  • Exposure to running tenders and category management.
  • A CIPs qualification or equivalent, or experience of working as a Buyer.
  • Strong negotiator skills, with the ability to secure the best outcomes for Superdrug.
  • Confidence in making decisions that impact our own brand procurement.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to deliver results through people.
