About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Dementia Support Specialist. As a key member of our Home Instead team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our clients with dementia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one support to clients with dementia, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.
  • Assist with daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Encourage clients to engage in activities that promote mental and physical well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Requirements

  • No experience necessary, as full training will be provided.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
  • Ability to travel to clients' homes using a reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting individuals with dementia.
