Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic General Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Holroyd Howe. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service provision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of food and snacks, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all customers, ensuring their expectations are consistently exceeded.
- Keep the kitchen and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver an exceptional customer experience, responding promptly to customer needs and exceeding expectations.
Client Service:
- Ensure customers receive a prompt and efficient service, consistently exceeding their expectations.
- Be customer-focused at all times, being visible during service periods, approachable, and quick to respond to customer needs.
- Project a willing and helpful attitude to customers, seeking knowledge of food items sold and maintaining clean and fully stocked service counters.
People:
- Treat team members with respect and professionalism, as you would expect to be treated.
- Cooperate with all team members, undertaking duties in the kitchen and service areas as requested to ensure an efficient and effective service.
Health & Safety, Food Safety, The Environment:
- Attend food safety, health and safety, and environmental training courses as required.
- Rigorously follow unit cleaning schedules, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Attend all location meetings as required.
- Show commitment to company values in all aspects of your role.
- Act as a positive ambassador for the business, promoting a positive image and reputation.
- Ensure compliance with the company's policy on safer recruitment and safeguarding children and young adults at all times while at work.
