Sanctuary Supported Living is excited to announce an opening for a Culinary Support Specialist within our Retirement Communities Service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation of meals and beverages while adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Collaborating with residents, families, and team members to maintain high service standards.
  • Performing general tasks as assigned, including keeping the kitchen and communal areas clean and organized.
  • Identifying and reporting any potential safety issues to ensure a secure environment.
  • Managing inventory levels, restocking supplies as necessary, and ensuring equipment is utilized according to guidelines.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in general food service duties is preferred.
  • Previous work in a domestic or food service setting is advantageous.
  • Possession of a Level 2 diploma in catering or a willingness to pursue this qualification.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Basic understanding of workplace health and safety protocols.
