We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Art Director to join our team at Ninja Theory. As a key member of our Art Department, you will be responsible for leading the technical direction of our art team and ensuring the highest quality of art assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical development of art assets, including 3D modeling, texturing, and rigging.
- Collaborate with the Art Director to develop and implement the artistic vision for our projects.
- Manage a team of 2 artists, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their technical skills are up-to-date.
- Develop and maintain in-house tools and pipelines to streamline the art creation process.
- Work closely with the Development Directors to ensure seamless integration of art and technology.
- Participate in the development of project proposals and pitches to secure new business.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Art Director or similar role in the game industry.
- Expertise in UE5, Character/Facial rigging, and Python programming.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
- Ability to relocate to Cambridge, with assistance provided for housing and other expenses.
