About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Learning Disabilities team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of service users with a diagnosed learning disability who have been referred to the community team.
  • Undertake Occupational therapy assessments with a designated service user caseload, addressing occupational performance and skills deficits to meet service users' needs.
  • Plan and implement Occupational therapy interventions (individual or group), using graded activity to achieve therapeutic goals.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and modify treatment in order to measure progress and to ensure effective intervention.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent overseas qualification.
  • HCPC registered.
  • Experience of working with adults with a diagnosed learning disability and/or mental health condition.
