About Cavendish Professionals
We are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join our team in NW London. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts, and entering data into accounting software or databases. You will also prepare financial statements, pay vendor invoices, and track bank account balances.
Key Responsibilities
* Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts, and enter data into accounting software or databases
* Prepare financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets
* Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances
* Complete VAT returns
* Verify the accuracy of business accounts and alert the Accountant of errors
* Record any inconsistencies to help the Accountants reconcile inaccuracies
* Develop monthly financial statements
* Prepare employee wages
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Financial Controller or Bookkeeper
* Degree or qualification in Finance is beneficial but not essential
* Previous experience within the Construction industry is advantageous
* Strong IT and communication skills
