Job Description

Pertemps Aylesbury is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Operative to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Security: Ensure the physical security of all assets by patrolling College premises, activating/deactivating intruder alarms, and verifying that all unnecessary lights and equipment are switched off.
  • Building Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including decorating, minor repairs, and upkeep of plant equipment, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Maintain the appearance of hard and grassed areas, drives, surrounds, and grounds by cutting and tending hedges and grass, controlling weeds, and completing weed spraying.
  • Portering: Provide portering services between College departments, ensuring that parcels are delivered and signed for, and completing office moves and waste management tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Facilities/Maintenance role.
  • A valid British driving license.
