Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit Warehouse Operative to join our team at People Solutions. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including receiving, dispatching, and storing goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and dispatch goods as required, adhering to warehouse targets and quality standards.
  • Load and unload customer goods safely and securely, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Pick goods from stock for store customers, meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
  • Count and reconcile stock, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or issues.
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, both internally and externally, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Perform other relevant duties as directed by management to ensure the effective performance of the warehouse operation.
Requirements
  • Must have prior experience working in a warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 25kg, with a strong physical fitness level.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Basic English and numeracy skills, with the ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records.
  • Right to work in the UK, with the ability to provide proof of eligibility.
