Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Youth Worker to join our team at Hatched Recruitment Group. As a key member of our youth services team, you will be responsible for coordinating, developing, and delivering projects across the borough to provide a range of youth activities and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and develop projects to provide centre-based, universal, and targeted youth activities and programs that enable formal and informal learning, personal, and social development of children and young people aged 11+ and up to 25 with SEND.
  • Ensure a varied offer of fun youth activities and programs are consistently available for the cohort, including accredited programs, one-to-one work, group work, and volunteering.
  • Directly line manage staff allocated to designated projects, ensuring regular supervision, performance monitoring, and development and training opportunities.
  • Undertake and develop partnership work with key stakeholder organizations and partners, including VCS groups, schools, and community facilities.
  • Meet all apportioned performance targets, updating data onto the service MIS database and preparing reports as required to verify and evidence delivery and quality of work.
Requirements
  • Experience in youth work, project coordination, and staff management.
  • Strong communication and partnership-building skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of youth services and community development principles.
