Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Service Manager to lead our residential service for young people. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring that we maintain outstanding standards of care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Management
    • Manage the service to achieve outstanding standards of care and support.
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring that all aspects of care and support are delivered to the highest standard.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Maintain and improve quality standards across the service.
    • Ensure that all staff are trained and equipped to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Customer Focus
    • Promote the rights of each customer and keep their wishes at the center of their care and support.
    • Ensure that all customers receive personalized care and support that meets their individual needs.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Experience in administrative duties such as filing, recording, rota preparation, and report writing for children's homes.
  • Qualifications
    • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services or equivalent.
  • Skills and Attributes
    • Excellent understanding of the needs of people who require care and support at home.
    • Commitment to respecting the rights of customers at all times and to promoting their privacy, dignity, and independence throughout their lives.
    • Knowledge of child development.
