We are seeking an experienced and driven leader to join our team as the Head of Community Protection and Special Projects. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in creating safe, secure, and thriving communities by delivering proactive and preventative Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) services.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement our ASB Policy, ensuring it aligns with our Service Principles and complies with relevant regulations and legislation. Drive transformational change across the organization to deliver consistent, high-quality ASB services.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the creation and monitoring of a quality assurance framework, ensuring continuous improvement in case handling and customer satisfaction. Act as the strategic lead for ASB service delivery, collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners.
- Partnership Working: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with local authorities, police forces, and key stakeholders to fulfill our obligations as a social landlord. Represent our organization at partnership forums, promoting the interests of our residents and ensuring a multi-agency approach to community safety.
- Customer Focus: Lead the ASB communication plan, raising awareness among customers about ASB issues and their responsibilities. Ensure that our services are accessible and responsive to the needs of all customers, including those in vulnerable situations.
- Project Management: Design and deliver special projects and improvement action plans that enhance our ASB services. Drive innovation and change, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and effectively, with a focus on digital solutions and data-driven decision-making.
You are a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing ASB services within the social housing sector. You have a proven track record of strategic leadership, driving service improvements, and delivering positive outcomes for customers. Your expertise in ASB management, coupled with your ability to lead and inspire teams, makes you the ideal candidate to take our ASB services to the next level.
- Experience: Significant experience at a Head of Service level in ASB management, with a deep understanding of community safety, ASB trends, and prevention initiatives.
- Leadership: Inspirational leader with the ability to motivate and develop teams, driving performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate complex information and decisions clearly to a wide audience.
- Innovation: A creative and forward-thinking mindset, with a proven ability to design and implement strategic improvements and transformational change.
- Customer Focus: A strong commitment to customer satisfaction, with experience in managing services that meet the diverse needs of customers, particularly those in vulnerable situations.
