About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our transformative Healthy Neighbourhoods programme, re-imagining our streets and spaces to make them 'fit for the future'. As Head of Transport Strategy and Programmes, you will be responsible for planning and co-ordinating our ambitious infrastructure and behaviour change programmes, prioritising people over traffic, safety over speed and delivering fairer, more accessible places.

About the Team

You'll be leading an experienced, dynamic, sector-leading team responsible for driving forward a range of programmes that deliver equitable, healthy, sustainable outcomes for our residents. We have a fantastic track record in developing groundbreaking policy and working with colleagues across the Council to shape, sponsor and deliver changes to our streets.

About the Borough
