Job Title: Head of Programme and Strategy

Job Summary:

Voxconsultants is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Programme and Strategy to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving organisational strategies, influencing and embedding change, and leading improvement projects across the directorate and organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
  • Lead on developing partnership networks and relationships to improve well-being outcomes for residents and strengthen collaborative working and integration.
  • Facilitate joint working across the sub-region and region in relation to projects and services that affect our residents and people who use our services.
  • Create and deliver strategies for our communities, enhancing resident voice and influence, and producing an annual directorate service plan that reflects an effective use of resources and is underpinned by service improvement.
  • Lead an effective Programme Management function within the Adult Social Care Directorate, providing strong and motivational leadership to the ASC Improvement Team.
  • Support the development and delivery of the Adult Social Care improvement priority projects, including playing a lead role in inspection preparation and response.

Requirements:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent experience in design, improvement, change, and programme management.
  • Successful and substantial senior management experience of developing strategy and change across complex public sector areas.
  • Extensive experience of running successful programmes and projects that have driven or led to service improvements and/or change, managing risk and assurance programmes, and delivering effective governance.
  • Strong leadership and management skills and the ability to lead, motivate, and enthuse teams and employees while creating a culture in support of organisational vision, values, and behaviours.
  • Understanding and experience of strategy and policy development, including working with key stakeholders, including members and residents.
  • Financial acumen and reasoning, used to working with significant budgets.

Contract:

  • Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend.
  • PAYE via Umbrella.
  • Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm.
