Job Title: Water Hygiene Technician

We are seeking a skilled Water Hygiene Technician to join our team at The Selection Partnership Ltd. As a Water Hygiene Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of water hygiene and safety in various customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Legionella temperature monitoring and water sampling to identify potential risks.
  • Inspect hot and cold tanks to ensure compliance with ACoP L8 regulations.
  • Clean and disinfect water systems to prevent contamination.
  • Servicing of Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs) to ensure safe water temperatures.
  • Shower descaling to prevent mineral buildup.
  • Complete detailed reports on all site visits and activities.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the Water Treatment or Hygiene industry.
  • Cooling tower experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Good understanding of ACoP L8 regulations and compliance.
  • Hold an industry-recognized qualification.
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to use software for reporting and data analysis.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.
  • Physical fitness to perform tasks involved in water hygiene works.
  • Full driving license and ability to travel to customer sites.
