Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Plumber to join our team at ZipRecruiter. The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 2 in plumbing and possess the expertise to maintain, repair, and install plumbing systems in a commercial setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, fittings, and drains
  • Install new plumbing systems as needed for renovations or new construction projects
  • Troubleshoot any issues with water supply or drainage systems
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address facility-related issues
  • Complete work orders efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to plumbing work

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing is required; additional certifications or qualifications are beneficial but not mandatory
  • Proven experience in commercial plumbing maintenance is beneficial but not essential

Preferred Skills

  • Strong technical skills related to diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills when interacting with colleagues or clients
