We are seeking an experienced People Operations and Policy Manager to join our team at AG Barr. As a key member of our HR function, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the People Operations team, including payroll, people administration, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- People Operations:
- Oversee and optimize daily operations of the People Department to ensure efficient and effective processes
- Lead the timely and accurate delivery of payroll through effective processes within the team
- Manage employee records and databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations
- Policy Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintain people policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and best practices
- Lead a team of Advisors on People Policy management and development to ensure their ongoing effectiveness
- Communicate policy changes to colleagues and ensure understanding and compliance across the business
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Supervise the People Operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive People Department-related projects and initiatives
Requirements:
- Proven experience in People Operations and policy management
- In-depth knowledge of People policies, employment laws, and regulations
- Experience in leading a payroll function
- Proficiency in systems and applications
- Experience in leading Employee Relations activities and case management
- Developed organisational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
