The Role: Senior Support Worker

We are seeking two highly motivated Senior Support Workers to join our team in Scarborough. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the local management team and ensuring the smooth operation of our Supported Living Houses.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and training to new Support Workers.
  • Conduct audits and inspections, actively participating in customer reviews.
  • Observe Support Workers' performance, identifying areas for improvement in collaboration with the manager.
  • Maintain and update support plans and risk assessments.
  • Deliver direct support to our valued customers.
  • Contribute to the local out-of-hours on-call service on a rotational basis.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Computer literacy for various IT-based tasks.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting individuals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Driving license and access to a vehicle (although not essential).
