Financial Risk Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Control Specialist to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the credit ledgers of a large construction business, ensuring all financial risks to the business are proactively managed and controlled.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the collection process for both key and non-key accounts, creating customer payment applications within Excel.
- Conduct customer visits, allocate cash receipts, perform credit checks, and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and organise paperwork for customer visits, log and resolve queries, and liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle customer enquiries over the phone, resolving complex pricing issues, and addressing general queries to provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience within credit control.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience using Excel.
- A keen eye for detail and organisation is key.
