Job Title: Senior Assistant Facilities Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team at Mitie. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality facilities management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Facilities Manager in managing the portfolio of facilities within their area of responsibility.
  • Monitor and support the Operational team, Engineering team, and Subcontractors as required.
  • Support the wider team in delivering all Health & Safety requirements, including updating risk assessments, employee training, and LiveSafe cultures.
  • Ensure building compliance and employee training as required.
  • Assist in mobilising and demobilising services.
  • Cover absence and annual leave across the portfolio, including management and front-line duties.
  • Ensure service delivery in line with KPIs, SLAs, and WIP management.
  • Facilitate and control Subcontractors as required, including escorting where applicable.
Requirements:
  • Experience of Facilities Management service delivery, across the entire Total Facilities Management spectrum.
  • Proficient IT skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge and experience of managing Hard and Soft FM services.
  • Flexible approach to working hours and a team player.
  • Committed, organised, and highly experienced in staff management and motivation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 360 packages.
  • SIA licence.
  • Full clean driving licence.
