Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team in Keswick. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, working closely with colleagues to achieve sales targets and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets, promoting products and services to customers.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date with new products and services.
  • Contribute to visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a sales or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, on a rota basis.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
