SEN Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team at a reputable special needs school in North London. The school specializes in teaching young individuals with autism and learning disabilities, creating a safe and happy learning environment to ensure all pupils can unlock their full potential and progress further into gaining their independence.

The successful candidate will have a passion for innovative teaching, motivated by helping every pupil to reach their potential. They will be willing to lead on a curriculum area(s) and contribute to a lively and stimulating environment. The role involves securing high-quality teaching through effective use of resources and planning, as well as supervising, developing, and managing Teaching Assistants relevant to their responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students with autism and learning disabilities
  • Lead on curriculum area(s) and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive learning environment
  • Supervise and develop Teaching Assistants to support student learning and well-being

Personal Qualities:

  • Knowledge and experience of teaching students with autism and learning disabilities
  • A calm and problem-solving attitude, with a commitment to student well-being and safety
  • SEN Teacher experience and a passion for innovative teaching practices
