SEN Teacher Role at Remedy Education

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our team at Remedy Education. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional education and care for children aged 4-19 with severe special educational needs (SEN) and profound Learning Difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualised education plans for each student, tailored to their unique needs and abilities.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters holistic development.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Set specific, measurable goals and regularly update individualised education plans.

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree/Qualifications in Special Education or a related field is desirable.
  • Previous experience working with children with severe SEN, ASD, and disabilities.
  • Understanding of various disabilities and SEN, including autism spectrum disorders, physical disabilities, and cognitive impairments.
