ABOUT YOU

As an NDT Field Specialist, you are required to hold PCN level 2 certifications in Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) for welds 3.1 and 3.2. Additional qualifications in Ultrasonic Testing of wrought products and Eddy Current testing will be considered advantageous. We provide comprehensive training and examination opportunities to help you achieve these certifications.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • PCN certifications in DPI, MPI, and UT at a minimum of Level 2
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and/or NDT methodologies
  • Competence in mathematical calculations
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Flexible work approach with a readiness to travel across the UK
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

In the role of NDT Field Specialist, you will join the site inspection team responsible for conducting non-destructive testing at various client sites throughout the UK, either independently or collaboratively. Your duties will include evaluating customer components according to specified standards and performing routine calibration checks to ensure compliance with processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Ultrasonic inspections primarily on steel or composite materials
  • Conducting Daily, Monthly, and Yearly maintenance checks
  • Engaging in periodic audits
  • Delivering accurate reports upon task completion
  • Willingness to advance your NDT career in a dynamic work environment
