Position Overview

The Training and Development Specialist is a newly created role, reporting directly to the Group Training, Learning & Development Manager. You will be tasked with a diverse array of training and development responsibilities, including:

  • Conducting inductions, as well as food safety and health & safety refreshers
  • Facilitating the growth of staff from factory operatives to middle management
  • Designing, developing, and leading front-line leadership programs
  • Identifying and delivering a wide range of learning opportunities
  • Assisting in the auditing of training, introducing innovative solutions to enhance sessions
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to support their development objectives
  • Managing and maintaining all training data to ensure compliance is consistently upheld

Required Skills & Experience

To be considered for the Training and Development Specialist position, candidates should possess:

  • CIPD Level 3 or be actively pursuing this qualification
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in a training and development role within a manufacturing context
  • Exceptional presentation and communication abilities
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS)
  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle due to the location's limited public transport options
