Make a Difference as a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Supply SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a primary school in Ynysybwl. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) to reach their full potential.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to gain rewarding experience and make a real difference in the lives of children with SEN. You will work closely with our experienced teachers and support staff to provide individualized support to pupils with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and group support to pupils with SEN
  • Assist pupils in reaching their academic and personal goals
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working or volunteering with children with SEN
  • A proactive and patient approach to supporting pupils with additional needs
  • A good understanding of special educational needs and the ability to provide a range of support to pupils
  • The ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and parents
