We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our talented team at Primus Connect, a top organisation listed in the 'Best 100 Large Companies' to work for. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining our Azure SQL / Synapse meta data framework, developing Azure Synapse pipelines, and performing data transformations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the design and maintenance of the Azure SQL / Synapse meta data framework
  • Develop Azure Synapse pipelines to load source data to the Data Lake and provide data to the Report layer(s) Power BI
  • Perform data transformations as per mapping documents
  • Develop Azure Synapse pipelines for audit capture, error, and exception handling
  • Automate Azure Synapse pipelines and Report Layer jobs using scheduling tools
  • Ensure quality is embedded and provable at every stage of code development
  • Provide design input for all technical deliverables
  • Create and maintain Technical Specifications
  • Data extracts from Legacy systems
  • Migration of data and processes from legacy systems to Azure Synapse
  • Identify improvements to existing processes and helping to migrate data and modelling into Azure Synapse
