Mental Health Matron Primary Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Matron to join our Primary Care team at HMP Belmarsh, a maximum security prison located in London.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Mental Health team, deputising for the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required, and working closely with partners to maintain a robust, high-quality clinical service for patients.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the Mental Health team and deputise for the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required.
- Work closely with partners to maintain a high-quality clinical service for patients.
- Chair and facilitate specific healthcare meetings with the team and different partners.
- Provide clinical supervision and carry out investigations locally and for the wider region.
- Registered Nurse Adult or Mental Health.
- Current professional qualification (NMC).
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
