Mental Health Matron Primary Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Matron to join our Primary Care team at HMP Belmarsh, a maximum security prison in London.
The successful candidate will lead the Mental Health team, deputise for the Deputy/Head of Healthcare, and work closely with partners to maintain a robust clinical service for patients.
This is an exciting opportunity for a caring and compassionate professional to make a real difference in the lives of patients and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare in a secure environment.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the Mental Health team and deputise for the Deputy/Head of Healthcare as required.
- Work closely with partners to maintain a high-quality clinical service for patients.
- Chair and facilitate healthcare meetings with the team and partners, provide clinical supervision, and carry out investigations locally and regionally.
- Registered Nurse Adult or Mental Health qualification.
- Current professional qualification (NMC).
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
Experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment is desirable, but not essential.
