About the Role:

Nurse Seekers is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dermatology Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in our dermatology clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide and maintain high standards of nursing care in a welcoming and safe environment.
  • Act as an advocate for patients and families, providing support and directing them to relevant services.
  • Enhance clinical skills and knowledge to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care.
  • Perform procedures such as phototherapy, suture removal, wound reviews, and dressing changes after appropriate training.
  • Assist in minor surgery, preparing patients for procedures and working with doctors to ensure proper documentation and patient discharge.
  • Offer specialist advice, assess patient care, and provide explanations of management decisions and treatments in outpatient clinics.
  • Monitor patients' responses to treatment, ensure necessary tests are conducted, and discuss concerns with clinic doctors.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Proven experience in dermatology nursing or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training.
