Position: Student Support Facilitator


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our innovative educational institution as a Student Support Facilitator. This role is essential in providing guidance and assistance to students across various subjects, ensuring they achieve their academic goals.


Experience Level:
All levels of experience are welcome to apply. Previous experience in educational support is advantageous but not mandatory. A solid foundation in numeracy and literacy is expected.

Compensation:
£22,737 per annum FTE (Actual Salary £13,177 based on 25 Hours per Week) + Benefits

Work Schedule:
Part-Time, Permanent

25 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Term Time Only (39 Weeks)

Flexibility for 3 to 4 days per week can be accommodated.

Role Overview:

As our institution expands, we are looking to appoint a new Student Support Facilitator to join our team. This role involves working closely with students to foster their academic growth and personal development.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong commitment to supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with both students and educators.
  • Resilience and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students.

Your primary objective will be to empower students with additional needs, helping them to become independent and well-rounded individuals. A positive attitude, approachability, and strong interpersonal skills are crucial.

While prior experience in a similar role is preferred, it is not a requirement. We encourage applications from individuals interested in pursuing a career in education.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students across various subjects in both classroom and small group settings.
  • Address the additional support needs of students to enhance their learning experiences.
  • Promote and reinforce students' self-esteem through positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Participate in annual review meetings to discuss student progress.
  • Support during break and lunch times as needed.
  • Engage in extracurricular and afterschool activities on a rotational basis.
