Job Summary:

Clinical Nurse Educator - Ostomy Care Specialist

About the Role:

CHASE is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team as an Ostomy Care Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for educating and supporting healthcare professionals (HCPs) and internal teams on clinical aspects of Ostomy care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver educational programs and materials to HCPs and internal teams on Ostomy care and wound management.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure education strategy alignment and develop marketing materials.
  • Work closely with the Global Medical Affairs team to identify gaps in knowledge and needs of HCPs.
  • Provide expert advice and support to HCPs and internal teams on Ostomy care and wound management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in Ostomy care and wound management.
  • Contribute to the development of educational materials and resources for HCPs and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Nurse RGN (essential)
  • Proven experience with an interest within the stoma care / colorectal care
  • Commercial experience highly desirable
  • Ability to identify and act upon business opportunities to achieve objectives
  • Desirable both hospital and community experience
  • Specialist knowledge of Ostomy products
  • Experience or understanding of Dispensing Appliance Contractors and their role (DACs)
  • Experience of working with a range of clinicians from Colorectal and Stoma nurses, colorectal Consultants, continence advisors, district teams, pharmacists, and nurses
  • Strong presenter and communicator
  • Experience of delivering of training and education
