Security Specialist

Role Overview:

Nirvana Spa & Leisure Ltd is seeking a skilled Security Officer to enhance our security team within our Private Estate, Health Spa, and Hotel. In this role, you will conduct surveillance patrols across our facilities and play a vital role in safeguarding our personnel, contractors, and guests.

Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and addressing any suspicious activities, preventing vandalism, theft, trespassing, or other unlawful actions.

This position involves a shift pattern of 4 days on followed by 4 days off, with 12-hour shifts organized in coordination with the Security Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Security Officer, your main duties will encompass:

• Regular inspection and patrol of the premises through varied foot patrols and monitoring of security cameras.
• Oversight of key locations within the estate, hotel, and spa, including gates and surrounding perimeters.
• Investigation and documentation of any suspicious behaviors or incidents.
• Ensuring the security of all buildings, entrances, doors, and windows at the close of business.
• Prompt response to alarms and timely action as required.
• Assisting the Security Manager or Duty Manager as needed.
• Providing daily reports of surveillance activities, particularly those of a suspicious nature, to the Security Manager.
• Supporting the operational management of events held at Nirvana venues when necessary.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Security Officer role or a comparable military position.
• A solid understanding of legal regulations pertaining to security and public safety, or the willingness to learn.
• Experience in report writing.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Exceptional surveillance and observational skills.
• 5 years' experience with advanced surveillance systems.
• First Aid training, including Defibrillator certification.
• A valid Front Line Door Supervisor or CP SIA license.
• A full driving license.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• A collaborative team spirit.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
