Security Specialist

Role Overview:

Nirvana Spa & Leisure Ltd is seeking a skilled Security Officer to enhance our security team within our Private Estate, Health Spa, and Hotel. In this role, you will conduct surveillance patrols across our facilities and play a crucial part in safeguarding our personnel, contractors, and guests.

Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and addressing any suspicious activities, preventing vandalism, theft, trespassing, or other unlawful actions.

You will be required to work a rotating schedule of 4 shifts on (12-hour shifts) followed by 4 shifts off, coordinated with the Security Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

The main duties of this position encompass:

• Regularly inspecting and patrolling the premises through both foot patrols and security camera surveillance.
• Monitoring key locations, gates, and surrounding areas of the estate, hotel, and spa.
• Investigating and documenting any suspicious behaviors or activities.
• Ensuring all buildings, entrances, doors, and windows are secured at the end of each day.
• Responding promptly to alarms and taking appropriate action.
• Assisting the Security Manager, Duty Hotel, Spa Manager, or any personnel in need of support.
• Providing daily reports of surveillance activities, including any concerning incidents, to the Security Manager.
• When necessary, aiding in the smooth operation of events held at any Nirvana venues.

Candidate Profile:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Security Officer or in a comparable military position.
- A solid understanding of legal regulations pertaining to area security and public safety, or the capacity to learn these guidelines.
- Proficiency in report writing.
- A good command of written and spoken English.
- Exceptional surveillance and observational skills.
- At least 5 years of experience utilizing advanced surveillance systems.
- Certification in First Aid at work, including Defibrillator training.
- A valid Front line Door Supervisor or CP SIA license.
- A full driving license.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- A collaborative team player.
- Effective time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
