Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor and collaborate with a team of Care Assistants to ensure the highest quality of care is consistently delivered.
  • Report directly to the Home Manager and work closely with ancillary teams and fellow Senior Care Specialists.
  • Engage residents in meaningful activities while promoting their independence, dignity, and respect.
  • Contribute to the development of personalized care plans and conduct regular assessments to ensure outstanding care delivery.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of two years' experience as a Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant, with an NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care, or three years' experience without an NVQ.
  • Previous experience in a nursing or care home setting, or as a home care worker.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards, including the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
  • Desirable knowledge of working with individuals living with dementia.
  • A passionate, enthusiastic, and caring individual who is dedicated to enhancing the lives of others.
