Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assess and monitor patient conditions, identifying and responding to any changes or concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues, using clear and respectful language.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with best practices and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months paid experience in a learning and disability hospital environment within the last 3 years.
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
