Team Context

The Online Safety Group is at the forefront of implementing the Online Safety Act, which empowers us to safeguard citizens from online harm. This is a pivotal moment for our organization, as we strive to create a safer online environment for all.

Role Purpose

The selected candidates will contribute to the formulation and execution of regulatory policies that align with the Online Safety Act. Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing consultations aimed at mitigating risks associated with illegal online content.
  • Designing protective measures for children engaging with online services.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure effective policy implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support the management and delivery of specific policy workstreams.
  • Provide assistance across multiple areas of the program as needed.
  • Articulate policy positions to internal governance bodies, presenting well-reasoned arguments.
  • Adhere to project milestones and deadlines while responding proactively to feedback.
  • Foster collaboration within the policy team and across functional areas.
  • Draft regulatory documents with clear rationale, ensuring alignment with our analytical framework.
