Job Title: EHCP Coordinator

Job Type: Full time/Contract

Pay Rate: £180 Per Hour

We are seeking a passionate and experienced EHCP Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Novax Recruitment. As an EHCP Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities by managing the Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate EHCPs and manage the process from start to finish.
  • Work closely with children, young people, and their families to understand their needs and develop personalized plans.
  • Collaborate with educational, health, and social care professionals to ensure seamless delivery of EHCPs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, schools, and other stakeholders to ensure effective EHCP implementation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEND Code of Practice, education, health, and care legislation, and local authority processes to ensure compliance and best practice.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in coordinating EHCPs or working within a SEND-related role in an educational, health, or social care setting.
  • Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, education, health, and care legislation, and local authority processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and sensitively to a diverse audience.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
  • A commitment to supporting the needs of children and young people with SEND, and the ability to work empathetically with families and professionals.
