Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and manage a team of decontamination technicians to ensure the highest standards of quality and productivity.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve departmental performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure the department's goals and objectives are aligned with the Trust's overall strategy.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Ensure that all decontamination processes and procedures are in compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including ISO 13485:2016.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure the department's quality management system is effective and efficient.
- Identify and implement corrective actions to address any quality or compliance issues.
- Operational Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Decontamination Department, including the management of resources and personnel.
- Develop and implement effective workflows and processes to ensure the efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Training and Development
- Provide training and development opportunities to decontamination technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Identify and address any training needs or gaps within the department.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement training programs that meet the department's needs.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who possesses the following qualifications and characteristics:
- Qualifications
- Four GCSEs grade D or above, including maths and English, or equivalent.
- Previous experience within decontamination services of supervising teams.
- Knowledge and Experience
- Previous experience within decontamination services of supervising teams.
- Previous supervision and training of new or junior staff.
- Knowledge and previous application of quality systems within decontamination.
