Job Title: Global IT, Infrastructure and DevOps Leader

Energy One Limited is a leading provider of applications and services to the wholesale energy sector, operating and trading energy across various regions. We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as Global IT, Infrastructure and DevOps Leader.

About the Role

This is a high-profile position that requires a seasoned professional to lead a global team of IT, infrastructure, and DevOps experts. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality services and support to our business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement IT Strategy: The Global IT, Infrastructure and DevOps Leader will be responsible for developing and implementing a global IT, infrastructure, and DevOps vision that aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Lead and Mentor the Team: The successful candidate will lead and mentor a team of managers and leads to ensure the successful execution of projects and the good operation of support.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: The Global IT, Infrastructure and DevOps Leader will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline deployment processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Drive Improvements to the Platform: The successful candidate will drive improvements to the platform and tooling used to deliver a reliable, secure, and performance platform.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: The successful candidate will have leadership experience with the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
  • IT, Infrastructure, and DevOps Experience: The Global IT, Infrastructure and DevOps Leader will have proven experience in IT, infrastructure, and DevOps Management or a similar role.
  • Cloud and Containerisation Knowledge: The successful candidate will have advanced knowledge of Azure Cloud and/or AWS and Containerisation technologies.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: The Global IT, Infrastructure and DevOps Leader will have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration abilities.
