Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Assistant Finance Manager to join our team at MB Connected. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Finance Manager and Senior Account Director with various commercial projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly management accounts and weekly flash reports, to senior stakeholders.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and drive efficiencies across the finance function.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and provide commentary on performance against budget and forecast.
- Project Work: Support the Senior Finance Manager and Senior Account Director with ad-hoc commercial projects to improve profitability and drive business growth.
Requirements:
- Accounting Qualification: Part-qualified or finalist accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with a strong commercial acumen and proven business partnering skills.
- Experience: Experience as an Assistant Management Accountant or Management Accountant in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercial Awareness: Strong understanding of commercial principles and practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and colleagues.
