Transfer Opportunity:

Candidates must have a minimum of one year of permanent service as a Clinical Psychologist 2 or in a related capacity for transfer eligibility. This transfer should be within two salary grades of the grade 23 level.

Provisional Opportunity:
In the absence of a valid eligible list, candidates may qualify for provisional appointment based on specific criteria.

Promotion:
The minimum requirement is one year of permanent service as a Clinical Psychologist 1.

Open Competitive:
Applicants should possess a master's degree in psychology from an accredited institution. The degree program must prepare graduates for roles in clinical, forensic, or community mental health environments.
  • Degree must include a clinical psychology practicum, externship, or clinical fieldwork.
  • Two years of supervised post-master's degree psychology experience are required.
- *Substitutions for post-master's degree experience may be considered.

Important Note:
Qualifying experience should include administering assessments, conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing behavior support plans, counseling, and treatment.
  • Experience should encompass various areas such as mental disorders, cognitive disorders, behavioral disorders, addiction, and forensic mental health.
  • Degrees in education, counseling, hypnosis, human relations, and similar fields are not qualifying.

It is essential to ensure that you are not listed as an excluded individual on Medicaid or Medicare lists to be eligible for this position.
